Julia Immonen & her Row For Freedom team meet Prime Minister David Cameron

Our T-Shirts reach No.10!

It's not often you can get your claim to fame but last week Julia Immonen and her Row For Freedom team met Prime Minister David Cameron at No. 10 Downing Street to talk about their fantastic campaign against Sports Trafficking and their enormous fundraising effort of Rowing the Atlantic.  They were sporting our gloriously made t-shirts with a list of all their sponsors.

The first female crew of 6 plan to row 3000 miles across the Atlantic Ocean unaided.  It should take 35-45 days from La Gomera (Canary Islands) to Barbados.

Christopher Columbus followed a similar route when he discovered America in 1492 and later in the 1800's the Atlantic was used to transport millions of slaves to the USA.

The team have an enormous amount of support from many people and companies including Manpower Group, Steve Redgrave and Bear Grylls to name but a few.  We wish Julia and her team all the luck in this fantastic feat and look forward to hearing about their journey and learning about the awareness of Child Trafficking this event has created.  For more information visit the Sports against Trafficking website, which is Julia's very own charity.  http://sportagainsttrafficking.com/
